All I wanted to do was see me have some fun
I got so sick and tired of hearing "walk, don't run."
Still surprised, when I chose to pick up a gun

Then use that trigger a way to end it all
As a way to get away from all the pain that I caused
Yea I believed in me, hell yeah, I gave my all
I just didn't know that I was tripping and that I would fall
It was my fault cuz I did what I did
So fucking motived on making a bunch of other people proud
It took me forever to realize, all I actually did
Was elevate everyone who had counted me out
But now things have changed, and more is different
Ain't got nothing' but my mind and it's focused on winning/ now

And yeah it should have been this way since the beginning
I guess that's why I’m headed into extra innings
Now everything I do, is just for me
When I make my kids smile, that cheese is for me
No matter what I’m doing, feeding the homeless, or with a woman
I ain't doing nothing for nobody, unless it's for me
